As part of its international activities, the National Office for Standardization and Metrology (ONANOR), under the Ministry of Mines and Industry, participated in meetings of the Arab Metrology Network (ARAMET), organized by the Arab Industrial Development, Standardization and Mining Organization (AIDISMO) in Saudi Arabia, under the auspices of the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO).
The Office was represented at these meetings by Dr. Mohamed El Amin Chamikh, Deputy Director General, who participated actively and effectively in the various meetings, discussions and presentations. The topics addressed included the general annual report, reports from the various technical committees, and the formation of new technical committees.
During these meetings, our country was appointed to chair the Management Systems Commission and secured a seat on the Legal Metrology Commission.
These meetings took place over three days, on 11, 12 and 13 May 2025.
