Supplemental information for the new ONANOR website. This notice describes this website and does not replace information specific to an administrative procedure. Updated: 7 October 2026.
1. The website and your contact
This website presents the activities of the National Office for Standardization and Metrology (ONANOR). For a question about your data, use the contact page or [email protected], the address published on the original website. IPROD provides development, hosting and technical support for the new website and its Karna content management system.
2. Messages and requests
The form collects your name, email address, optional phone number, message and interface language to receive, route and handle your request and reply. Required fields are identified. Do not send passwords, payment details, identity documents or sensitive information not expressly requested through an appropriate channel.
3. Access and security
Authorized people can access requests in the management interface according to their permissions. When enabled, email notifications may be sent to the recipient configured for the service. Technical providers may assist with hosting, maintenance and abuse prevention. Administration requires authentication; important operations are recorded in an audit log.
4. Abuse prevention
When the form is enabled, Cloudflare Turnstile verifies submissions to limit bots and abuse. It may process technical information about your browser, connection and verification. See Cloudflare’s policy. This protection is separate from consent to load videos and social content.
5. Language and necessary storage
Your language choice is saved in the site_locale cookie and preferred-locale local storage. The cookie has a configured duration of 12 months; local storage remains until replaced or deleted. Administration uses a secure session to recognize signed-in users. These mechanisms do not subscribe you to a newsletter.
6. External content and links
Embedded video and social content is not loaded automatically before you enable it. Loading connects to the relevant platform, which may receive your IP address and browsing information and use its own cookies. Some social choices may be remembered locally for each platform. An external link or sharing button takes you voluntarily to the corresponding service, whose policy then applies.
7. Changing your choices
The “Clear external-content consent” footer button deletes social permissions remembered by this website and reloads the page. You can also delete cookies and local data in your browser; this may reset the language or end your administrative session. Local deletion does not withdraw a submitted request: contact the Office for that purpose.
8. Retention and backups
Messages, logs and backups serve different purposes. Retention should reflect follow-up and security needs and applicable obligations. No universal deletion period is stated here; ask the Office about your particular case. Service-continuity backups may temporarily contain data predating changes in the management interface.
9. Requests concerning your data
You may request information about your data, access, correction or deletion, and raise an objection where applicable conditions permit. Specify your request without initially sending sensitive documents; proportionate identity verification may be necessary. The Personal Data Protection Authority publishes official information on individuals’ rights.
10. Notice updates
This notice should be updated when forms, providers or uses change. It is not a general certification of compliance and does not describe processing outside this website. Information specific to a service remains relevant to that service.
