The National Office for Standardization and Metrology (ONANOR)
is a public industrial and commercial establishment (EPIC), created by Decree No. 2023-080 on 09 May 2023, with the mission of promoting standardization, metrology, certification and accreditation in the public and private sectors to develop quality infrastructure in Mauritania.
At ONANOR, the General Directorate is committed to:
- Provide high-quality services that meet the expectations and satisfaction of customers and stakeholders.
- Ensure impartiality and confidentiality at all levels and towards all stakeholders.
- Apply a management system that complies with quality policies and procedures.
- Ensure effective communication to clearly identify needs in standardization, metrology and certification.
